Open to all – A vibrant community of like-minded people who have a thirst for personal development and enjoy exploring ideas through open discussion. Each month LifeTalks has a different guest speaker on a range of subjects; some theory based and some on practical. Events tickets here.
If you like exploring your mind and learning new things then this is the group for you. It’s an informal mix of people who come along for many different reasons; some for learning, others to meet and chat, to experience a practical session, to have time to work on something for themselves or for a night out in great company.
We’d love to see you there next time.

LifeTalks – A dose of nature
Will a dose of nature were the standard prescription for Mental Health?
Dr Dan Bloomfield has been developing nature-on-prescription activities under the project banner A Dose of Nature since 2014.
Recent emphasis on social prescribing within the NHS has coincided with research around this topic, at the University of Exeter and elsewhere, as well as a great deal of enthusiasm from nature and conservation organisations, keen to see the value of what they do given greater emphasis. As a psychotherapist, Dan has been wondering for a while now about whether a dose of nature could – even should – ever become a ‘normal’ treatment route for adults with common mental health problems.
What are the advantages, potential pitfalls, and what is the evidence? This talk will explore these questions and more.
Open to everyone.

We invite you to join us for our first Life Conversation of 2019
We will meet for tea or coffee and cake at The Saracens Plate in Penryn Rugby Club and informal discussion within a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy ‘Belonging’. Build connections, find out more about each other, and explore common interests.
Be part of a social group with a purpose – to help and support one another.
We, Amanda and Andy from LifeMOT CIC, will be facilitating conversations on topics that you decide (we’ll have some as back up as well). Most of all we will be getting to know like-minded people who have an interest in personal development and health.

How it started –
Amanda Hudson was one of the founder members back in 2009 and is still hosting the group today. Amanda says “My dream is that the group will continue to grow in numbers so we have a community or people interested in nurturing themselves and others. As the community grows we will be able to have access to further trainings and guest speakers from afar. This way we will all benefit from the shared knowledge within the room but also from much further afield’. Lifetalks is all for collaborative work and community in Cornwall. We have a wealth of highly skilled people here on our doorstep. Lets get to know our neighbours so that we can all use our skills in the best way possible for as many people as possible”.
If you would like to be our next guest speaker, please contact us.
