LifeTalks – A Golden Civilisation –
Conversation, Speaker and book signing with George Kinder
Many individuals feel that our civilisation and democracy are in a tough place.
George Kinder, internationally-recognized thought leader and father of the financial Life Planning movement, recently published his latest book, A Golden Civilization and The Map of Mindfulness, launching community conversations globally.
George is a dynamic presenter and is able to create a powerful experience for attendees whether the audience is a dozen individuals in a coffeehouse or a university auditorium for 75!”
He’ll be facilitating a Golden Civilization Conversation,” it is an interactive talk with the audience that has the group craft a shared vision for a Golden Civilization, think briefly about the challenges ahead, and then discuss action steps and make individual commitments to accomplishing the vision in short order. You’re invited to bring your wildest ideas and most personal values to a conversation and visioning exercise facilitated by George.
Imagine a thousand years into the future there is a Golden Civilisation.
- What does it look like?
- Feel like?
- How do people communicate and govern themselves?
- What does the economy look like?
- What can we each do to move towards it right now?
The structured conversations are designed to move us through much of the turmoil we find ourselves in by creating a positive vision of civilisation’s future and action steps to accomplish it in short order.

How it started –
Amanda Hudson was one of the founder members back in 2009 and is still hosting the group today. Amanda says “My dream is that the group will continue to grow in numbers so we have a community or people interested in nurturing themselves and others. As the community grows we will be able to have access to further trainings and guest speakers from afar. This way we will all benefit from the shared knowledge within the room but also from much further afield’. Lifetalks is all for collaborative work and community in Cornwall. We have a wealth of highly skilled people here on our doorstep. Lets get to know our neighbours so that we can all use our skills in the best way possible for as many people as possible”.
If you would like to be our next guest speaker, please contact us.
