Open to all – Come along and meet like-minded people who have a thirst for personal development and enjoy exploring ideas through open discussion. Each month we have a different guest speaker on a range of subjects, some theory based and some on practical techniques. If you like exploring your mind and learning new things then this is the group for you. It’s an informal mix of people who come along for many different reasons; some for learning, others to meet and chat, to experience a practical session, to have time to work on something for themselves or just a night out in great company.

Amanda Hudson presents an evening of theory and practical exploration of our Values.
Personal Values – We are generally brought up to be in line with our family/community/cultural values. We are taught to be honest, have good manners, be kind to others. When we come up against someone or something that does not reflect our values we can experience, hurt, distrust, conflict and even anger!
Organisational Values – If we have healthy Personal Vaules we are able to adapt to any environment and create a nurturing peaceful space to thrive and achieve goals. Researcers have linked the values to our ‘human health’ with that of ‘organisational health’. If we are fit and healthy it means that all of our system is functioning in an optimal way. In the same way, if every part of an organisation is ‘healthy’, the business thrives. More HERE

The aims of LifeTalks:
- Develop a strong network of like-minded people who can work together to promote Health and Well-being in Cornwall
- Ensure quality training events are available, including Continued Professional Development (CPD) opportunities
- Raise the profile of services available to support Health and Well-being
- Encourage collaboration for the benefit of all
- Make lasting friendships and grow the support network
- Informed vibrant discussions on topical subjects
Amanda Hudson was one of the founder members back in 2009 and is still hosting the group today. “My dream is that the group will continue to grow in numbers so we have a community or people interested in nurturing themselves and others. As the community grows we will be able to have access to further trainings and guest speakers from afar. This way we will all benefit from the shared knowledge within the room but also from much further afield. I’m all for collaborative work in Cornwall as we have so many highly skilled people here on our doorstep. Lets get to know our neighbours so that we can all use our skills in the best way possible for as many people as possible”.
